Cornerstone Bank names Leah Cox senior vice president, chief credit officer

Cornerstone Bank has appointed Leah Cox as senior vice president and chief credit officer, adding a seasoned banking executive to its leadership team as the bank continues to support commercial growth and maintain strong risk management practices across its market.

In her new role, Cox will oversee the Bank's commercial credit function, including portfolio risk monitoring, credit policy, regulatory compliance and the development of credit staff. She will play a key role in helping ensure the Bank's lending decisions align with its long-term strategic goals.

"Leah offers extensive expertise, sound judgment and a collaborative leadership style that will help us continue serving our business customers and communities for years to come."

Cox brings 24 years of experience in commercial credit, risk management and loan administration. She is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University and holds professional certifications from the Risk Management Association and the American Bankers Association.

Cox earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and sociology from Boston College. She resides in Swanzey, New Hampshire and volunteers with her local Humane Society.
