Cornerstone Bank has donated $7,500 to support the Abby’s House 50th Anniversary Gala, scheduled for May 29, 2026, at the Hogan Center at the College of the Holy Cross. The milestone gift builds on the bank’s ongoing commitment to the organization, following donations in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
“Abby’s House has been opening doors for women and children in Worcester for half a century, and we are proud to stand with them at this historic moment,” said Todd Tallman, CEO of Cornerstone Bank. “Their impact is profound, and this contribution reflects our belief in their mission and our commitment to strengthening the communities we serve.”
Abby’s House provides shelter, affordable housing, advocacy and support services to women and children. Over the past five decades, the organization has helped more than 16,000 women and their children rebuild their lives and achieve stability and independence. It operates one of the first overnight shelters for women in the country and is now the largest provider of affordable, supportive housing in Worcester designed specifically for women and children.
The 50th Anniversary Gala will celebrate Abby’s House’s legacy, recognize key community partners and support the organization’s continued work to meet the evolving needs of families across the region.
