Cornerstone Bank has donated $25,000 to the EcoTarium museum of science and nature, to sponsor The Secret World of Elephants exhibition.

The donation will help defray the more than $600,000 cost of bringing the traveling exhibit from the American Museum of Natural History in New York to Worcester for a six-month stay from March through September 2026. The EcoTarium expects more than 100,000 visitors to experience the exhibit, which will not travel to Boston.

“The Secret World of Elephants” explores the science, behavior and impact of elephants through immersive displays including a life-size woolly mammoth, detailed models of modern elephants, touchable casts, interactive exhibits and video experiences. Visitors will learn how elephants communicate, sense vibrations through their feet, use the 16 powerful muscles in their trunks and shape the ecosystems around them.

“Supporting organizations that expand access to education and science is central to our community mission,” said Todd Tallman, CEO of Cornerstone Bank . “We are proud to help bring this extraordinary exhibition to the region and make it accessible to families, students and visitors across Central and Western Massachusetts.”
