Welcome, Athol Savings Bank Customers!
As of January 1, 2026, Athol Savings Bank (“ASB”) has merged with and into Cornerstone Bank, a subsidiary of PeoplesBancorp, MHC.
ASB will continue to operate as a division of Cornerstone Bank, maintaining its name and five branch locations. This allows ASB to preserve its trusted local brand while providing customers with the full suite of digital banking services and customer-focused innovations offered by Cornerstone Bank.
Residential and Home Equity Lending for ASB Customers
Cornerstone Bank will be servicing all new residential and home equity transactions after January 1, 2026. In order to access those new transactions, ASB customers will need to access Cornerstone digital banking.
ASB customers who initiated residential and home equity lending transactions prior to January 1, 2026, should continue logging into the ASB site to access those transactions.
