While these partnerships are meaningful in their own right, together they tell a bigger story: one of connection, trust, and shared purpose. At the heart of our mission is a simple belief—that being a trusted financial partner also means being a steadfast community partner.
Below, we share just a small sampling of the impact we’ve made this year.
Strengthening Public Safety and First Responders
We donated $15,000 to the Central Massachusetts Sparks Association, supporting its Rehab-7 Incident Support program. The funds helped equip a new trailer with life-saving gear—such as water, blankets, and protective essentials—to be deployed at the scene of local emergencies. This investment underscores our deep appreciation for the firefighters and police officers who put themselves in harm’s way to protect others.
Empowering Financial Fitness and Forward
Financial empowerment begins with access and education. That’s why we donated $5,000 to the Quaboag Valley Community Development Corporation (QVCDC) for its Learn and Save Club, which equips participants with tools to build better money habits and work toward life-changing financial goals.
Supporting Mental Health and Family Resilience
Mental health matters. That’s why we donated $10,000 to Shrewsbury Youth and Family Services (SYFS)—a nonprofit that serves over 800 families each year through counseling, school-based programs and essential social services. From addressing anxiety and depression to navigating homelessness, domestic violence, and divorce, SYFS provides a vital safety net for children and families in crisis across Central Massachusetts.
Championing Youth Development and Leadership
Cornerstone Bank’s $25,000 gift to the YMCA of Central Massachusetts—our fifth straight year of support—will help ensure access to transformative programs for children and teens. From summer camp and after-school activities to mentorship and mental health resources, the YMCA fosters academic achievement and personal growth, regardless of a child’s financial circumstances.
Investing in the Leaders of Tomorrow
We are also continuing commitment to Our Bright Future, a youth enrichment organization that empowers children through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) programs. With a $25,000 annual donation through 2028, we’re helping provide opportunities that nurture curiosity and develop life skills through activities like robotics, bioscience, art, and sports.
Again in 2025, we also awarded $40,000 in scholarships to 16 local high school graduates, investing in their potential by helping support their college education.
Growing Hope, One Harvest at a Time
Our $3,000 donation to Community Harvest Project continues a valued partnership aimed at reducing food insecurity across Central and Eastern Massachusetts. In addition to our financial contributions—which have grown steadily since 2023—our employees regularly volunteer at CHP’s farms, putting our hands and hearts to work for a cause we deeply believe in.
