In the spirit of holiday giving, Cornerstone Bank held a toy drive to collect new, unwrapped toys for distribution to local children. What they amassed will go a long way in helping to spread some holiday magic.
“We are thrilled with the response we received, but not surprised,” said Cornerstone Bank CEO Todd Tallman. “Our customers are always happy to join us in supporting local causes, and they went over and above for the holidays.”
The toys were given to local organizations that support children and families in need. Cornerstone Bank’s Southbridge Branch donated its collection to the Southbridge Cops ‘N’ Kids Toy Drive, and collections from all other Cornerstone branches went to Planting the Seed Foundation in Worcester.
“Thank you to everyone who helped us make the holidays brighter for kids in our community,” said Tallman. “Your contributions will put smiles on children’s faces and joy in their hearts, and there’s nothing better than that.”
